Part 1 of Core 1

I believe right now that I am in a good place to be for using technology. I can write my college papers and write scripts on the computer. I am very good at surfing the internet for things I need/want. I also know how to use powerpoint and imovie. I can use a video camera and know the basics on how to use it. I can pretty much use any cell phone and know how it works. Not only do I know how to do that but i taught people how to use email. I am pretty savvy when it comes to videogames because of my older brother and boyfriend.
I need to improve on using photoshop for my cinematic expressions class. Also to learn how to use final cut pro instead of imovie. I deffinitely think I am stronger in pc technology than in mac technology, especially with powerpoint. I would like to learn how to use mac computers. I would also like to learn more of the functions on my videocamera that i use to shoot my movies. I want to also improve on using celtx for my script writing.

The person arguing is the author. The author is arguing for old people to be able to learn how to use the internet. The purpose is to get rid of the divide between those who can use the internet and those who can not. The author uses statistics to inform the reader. The audience would be those who do not believe old people can learn to use the internet.
